I was just scanning the NBA schedule for the next few days.

All I can say is POOR Sacramento.

They have back-to-back games Tuesday and Wednesday nights............in Cleveland and Boston!

I'll be at the game Tuesday which, with my history, will improve the Kings chances of winning dramtically.

The Nets outscored the Thunder, 31-12 in the 4th.

But OKC holds on for the win, 94-85.

Well, it's official- the single-season record for losses- 73- will still survive.

At one point, I thought OKC had a great chance to break that record.

* The Hornets cooled off the Sixers

* The Heat blew out the Hawks, 95-79. Don't look now, but the Heat are tied (24-19) with Detroit for 5th in the East.............only 1.5 games behind Atlanta for the coveted 4th spot.

* The Knicks defeated the Jekyll & Hyde Rockets

* The T-Wolves continue to be red hot (winning 9 of their last 11) as they defeat the Bucks in Milwaukee.

Speaking of the T-Wolves, if they were in the Eastern Conference, they would have a legitimate shot at a playoff berth.

Right now, the East has seven solid playoff teams.

But, who will step up as a sacrificial lamb for Cleveland or Boston in the 8th spot:

Milwaukee (22-26)- right now has the 8th spot, but it's hard to imagine them holding on to it without Michael Redd.

New Jersey- 20-25
New York- 19-25
Charlotte- 18-26
Chicago- 18-28
Toronto- 18-28
Indiana- 17-27

Out of all those teams, I think Toronto will get their act together and get the #8 seed.

I just don't see a team THIS year (maybe Chris Bosh and the Raptors?) that has the capabilities of the '07 Warriors or last year's Hawks (who are proving this year that they are a pretty good team).

I see the Bulls sneaking into the #8 spot. More talent on that team than any other in the running. (Derrick Rose, Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, Drew Gooden, Joakim Noah, Kirk Heinrich, Larry Hughes, Andres Nocioni, Tyrus Thomas). Of course their lack of bigs will prevent them to present any type of challenge once they get in the playoffs though.

How far will Cleveland's unbeaten season go?

IMO, there are only two upcoming opponents that I think are capable of ending the streak- the Lakers and Suns.

Other than that, I see a pretty easy slate of opponents.

The Charlotte Bobcats with a MANLY win against the Lakers in triple overtime... on the road!

Whil impressive, I'd like to see them play like this more often than not.

They are a weird team- they have wins over the Celtics and Lakers, but they've also gotten humiliated by Milwaukee and Toronto.

No....more like their lack of a coach. What will prvent them from getting anywhere is Mr. Del Negro. He is overwhelmed in my opinion and he will be gone before the end of the season.

I think Sabres is referring to the Cavs unbeaten record at HOME (21-0).

ahhhhh....he did say HOME record or home STREAK....my bad..!

I don't know, Toronto and Phoenix not only will give you a scare, but can pull off a win in Cleveland....

My point is....there are NO "easy slate of opponents" when you have the heavy grind of play 82 NBA games and you are midway through the season.

Mo Williams... All-Star?

Last night was yet another enjoyable and exciting game to watch. The performances by Mo Williams and LeBron were awesome! With the victory over the Kings, the Cavs are a mind boggling 21-0 at home! Who says home court doesn't matter?!

LeBron had his 20th career triple double. (23 pts, 15 reb, 11 ast)

But the real star of the night was PG Mo Williams. Mo Willy put on a show for the ages last night! (43 pts, 11 ast, 8 reb). Mo was 7 for 12 from the 3-point line and 15-of-24 from the floor. Last night's performance was yet another piece of evidence that the new PG for the Cleveland Cavaliers belongs in the All-Star game along side LeBron.

Mo Willy was the only new acquisition going into the season and it is more than evident that his addition has been a MAJOR reason on why the Cavs offense is now more efficient than ever before. Just ask LeBron whether Mo should be an All-Star...

"He deserves it," James said. "Look at our record. Look at the way he's playing. Tonight was a statement game. I'll be really disappointed because he's part of the reason we've played the way we have, and he's put up the numbers. We'll see."
