MLB POST SEASON 2010

From the same report:

Did these people also file complaints about all the celebratory jaywalking that was going on downtown that night?

Do they report all the big-act musicians who come to town and smoke cigarettes in their green rooms?

You can be plenty sure that there is a TON of Jaywalking coming and going to ANY ball game !

I know I do. :D

Yes. I am going to their 2nd home game in the Division Series and their 3rd home game in the NLCS when they make it.:D

They are actually going to investigate? What is there to investigate? Grown men smoking a legal substance in celebration, like MOST grown men do. This after only 5 people of thousands who were watching, complained

Some people need to get a life

This is the best part of the article:
Look, my non-smoker self enjoys big gulps of clean indoor air as much as anybody. I can't, however, imagine what kind of situational misery would make someone watch a one-time free-for-all scene where alcohol is freely being sprayed into the eyes of others and decide that he or she needs to tattle on a few puffs from a stogie at a place they're not even at.

By virtue of securing the best record in the NL, the Phillies have chosen the LDS with the extra day off.

So now, one of Halladay, Oswalt or Hamels (aka H2O) will pitch every game of the Phillies LDS.

Phillies LDS schedule (vs. Reds OR Padres OR Giants):

Wed- @ PHI
Fri- @ PHI
Sun- @ CIN/SD/SF
Mon- @ CIN/SD/SF
Wed- @ PHI

Doesn't this cover EVERYBODY ?

For those that do not subscribe to Extra Innings and want to watch the Padres and Giants, MLB Network will be broadcasting the game today.

Braves are winning. If the Padres and Braves both win, we will have 3 teams with the same record (SF, SD, and Atlanta). This means that there will be two one game playoffs. First, SF and SD. The winner wins the west and the loser goes to Atlanta. The winner of this second game against Atlanta gets the WC and the loser then goes home.

As I am tying this, the Braves are slowly blowing an 8-2 lead. It is now 8-7 in the 8th

Braves win. They at least guarantee themselves a one game playoff.

If the Giants win, then the Giants are the West champs and the Braves are the WC.

If the Padres win, then there will be two one game playoffs
