He's too important to risk further injury, they should have took him out game an inning earlier. They also said that his x-rays were negative.

Is it a case of them playing that good or the Giants playing that bad? Remember that the Giants have lost something like their last 5 series and have dropped from 2nd to last and from well over .500 to under .500 in just 2 weeks.Reds won their 3rd in a row against the Giants. Surprised they are playing this good, guess home cooking is always good.

If you want to see Defense, watch Austin Jackson sometime.
After the Red Sox win over the Padres on Thursday, Jose Iglesias (2-4) is batting .411 on the season. Iglesias has had an at-bat in 41 games this season - and at the end of each of those games, his batting average has been over .400. That's the 3rd-longest such streak in MLB since 1925.
Move over Rogers Hornsby. Stand aside, Paul Waner. Take a back seat, Ted Williams. This from ESPN.com:
I didn't put it up because I thought it was an amazing catch; I put it up to show how he got injured.

GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN ANGEL:

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP)
Los Angeles Angels pitcher Jered Weaver has become a first-time father, naming his son in tribute to late teammate and friend Nick Adenhart.
The team said Friday that Aden David Weaver was born earlier in the day to Weaver and his wife, Kristin. The baby weighs 8 pounds.
Weaver has paid tribute to Adenhart ever since the young pitcher was killed by a drunken driver after a game in 2009. He scrawls the initials ''NA'' into the dirt on the mound for each of his starts.
Adenhart was 22 when he died just hours after pitching six scoreless innings in his season debut for the Angels. Two of his friends also died in the April 9, 2009, collision in Fullerton, and another passenger was severely injured.
Construction worker Andrew Gallo is serving 51 years to life in prison for causing the crash.
