MLB 2012 Postseason

Now that the arrogant Ian "Get the f%^k off of my field!" Kinsler and his band of merry Rangers are embarrassed pieces of yesterday's fish wrap, I can truly sit back and enjoy the playoffs for what they are. I was hoping Atlanta had beaten the Cards but that is a minor thing.

As I said before if Baltimore and Oakland make it to the ALCS that will be more entertaining than the World Series!

When did Ian Kinsler say that?

Thats the TBS scheduling was of doing things.

They did the same thing last year.

I also think they did that because maybe they didnt want to go up against college football by putting it on in the afternoon? I think TBS made a mistake because Norte Dame is on and Texas and West Virgina is a huge game and thats going up against the Tigers and Oakland.

Wow that's about as uneventfull as I have seen all year from Valverde, great time for it though

Tigers won with a solid team performance. Verlander pitched like Verlander and people stepped up. They won without a hit from Cabrera or Fielder. I bet that hasn't happened too many times this season.

Your right, and for playoffs that's what the team needs, quick turnaround though with game 2 at 12 tomorrow

Having never stayed with a Tigers game till the 9th I found his spitting, snorting, squatting antics very offensive. He's a thug that belongs in the NHL or NBA as far as I'm concerned. That s%^$t really bothers me. NO ONE IS BIGGER THAN THE GAME!

What is with Valverde in the 9th? Why does he leave the mound after a strikeout/out?

Not a fan of it either, I dont mind excitement, but he goes a bit over, that's what he does you will see him do each time he is out there

That's just the way he is. He is a showboat and that's his routine every game. He has to be one of the most hated players in the league. I remember things getting pretty heated between him and the Yankees last season. A couple of them got pretty upset with his strikeout dances. He told them to shut up and stop striking out if they don't like it. I'm not saying I agree with his antics but he has been that way as long as I have been watching him.

I have never been a fan of the fist-pumping or antics on the mound, but I generally ignore them. However, if it helps Velverde do his job then I'm not going to say much unless he goes overboard. It's when he tosses meatballs that really raises my blood pressure. While I prefer a pitcher to be more stoic like Verlander...I don't see anything he did as being offensive.

I think the Tigers match-up well against anyone in the AL Playoffs except the Rangers. Mighty glad the Os beat them last night. I think they also match-up well against everyone in the NL except the Cards. But I think the Nationals are going to win the NL. We shall see.

Well that stinks. I wonder of Pagan time out request caused the injury?

Always nice to see the GOOD things NFL players do
