MLB 2012 Postseason

Well that stinks. I wonder of Pagan time out request caused the injury?

What is his injury? Where I am watching the game there is no sound.

They didn't say. They think it is an oblique pull.

They said Cueto was having back spasms when he was warming up during the game. They said every pitch he made his back got worse. It had nothing to do with the timeout request.

Why not start the games the same time they have them scheduled to start on Monday?

I like it when playoff games have an afternoon (1pm) or mid morning start (10am) and one early evening start (5pm).

Nothing better than afternoon baseball.

Absolutely agree!! I have fond memories, coming home from school in the mid/late 70's, to an afternoon LCS game. It always seemed to be either Phillies-Dodgers or Yankees-Royals, and it always seemed to be on ABC with Keith Jackson, Howard Cosell and Don Drysdale. Those were the days! :)

That stinks about Cueto. I remember in 2006 when the Mets were in the playoffs and both are Game 1 and 2 starters couldnt start.

I will say that the Reds just got out of a bases loaded jam. Good for them keeping the score 0-0.

Not only that, Monday is a holiday so why not?

This game is on way too late. They need to do away with these 6:30 starts.

It is a good game though.

I cannot possibly see how starting at 9:30 is better for ratings than starting at 8:00.

Game time. Go Tigers! We need a good outing from Fister and some production from the big boys tonight.

People have been complaining about this game being on MLB Network like crazy on Detroit sports radio. Apparently lots of folks around Detroit don't get the channel. So far I like the production style better than TBS though. The only thing I'm missing is that nice 5.1 sound TBS had last night. I know MLB Network doesn't use 5.1 sound but it seems like they would for the postseason at least. Oh well, as long as my Tigers are winning I don't care about the sound.

I don't really care for the announcers. I did like the intro with the photo album of past historic post season moments.

Fister is throwing well, but we've left 4-base runners stranded through two. Go Tigers!

Fister got lucky to get out that inning with only one run.
