MLB 2012 Postseason

This may well turn out to be one of those Championship Series Game 7's that will more exciting than the World Series. It sure has all the makeup and drama setting the table as such a game.

It's supposed to clear up before the game, at least that's what the weather people are saying here. The game might be delayed but they should be able to play today.

Good to hear! Please keep us updated if you hear anything else. I hope they play tonight so SFO's mojo will not have a chance to cool down!

A SoCal guy rooting for the Giants? We want their mojo to cool down

I am not generally fan of any MLB team other than the Angels. However, I have favorite players that I enjoy watching on several teams. I was actually hoping for the Nationals to beat the Giants. They didn't and the Giants moved on. I really don't care for anyone on the Cards but there are some guys on the Giants that I like. So, I am looking for a Detroit-San Francisco series. If it's Detroit-St. Louis I will not care at all who wins but will certainly watch as a fan of the game.

Partly cloudy skies and no rain as this post, but it's still early. :D

Here is the doppler radar:

Forecast:

The steadier and heavier rain falls this morning. By noon our unsettled weather will produce scattered showers and breezy conditions with spotty sunshine. Lighter but more widespread showers are possible tonight.

As you know, I'm a Tigers fans. From that perspective, which team would I prefer to play in the Series? Well, during my lifetime we beat St. Louis in '68 and lost to them in '06 so another matchup would be sweet (revenge). On the the other hand, playing the Giants would be a new experience and it presents interesting matchups. Plus, and I really like AT&T Park and we beat the last "San" team we played from California (1984 San Diego Padres). Anyway, it doesn't matter what I think or feel...it's all about what they players do this evening in San Francisco. Both of these teams have beat the odds, but only one can drink champagne. It should be a good one.

From LA Times at 2:15PM:

Fear not. Forecasters said that although intermittent showers were expected in San Francisco throughout the day, they shouldn't delay the 5:07 p.m. Game 7 against the Saint Louis Cardinals at AT&T Park.

The Giants played the Reds, not the Nats

Things are going well so far for the Giants, but the Giants starter has also thrown a lot of pitches. I think the bullpens are going to be a key factor in tonight's game.

I was just gonna post this very point. The Cardinals may be losing, but they're making Cain work.

Always nice to see the GOOD things NFL players do
