Reds resign Ludwick for 2 years and mutual option for a 3rd year

Reds kept a good hitter and he was a reds fan growing up and I felt he would end up back there :)

Wait till he goes back to Boston I bet he don't get the best reception :D :)

Ya think !

Years ago you would NEVER see a former Red Sox play for the yanks or vice versa, but that has changed in the last 10 years or so.

Same goes with the players hanging out with one another after games, from opposing teams, that too would never happen, wouldn't be allowed ... its all different now.

So much for the fierce rivalries we use to have.

That said, I still don't see Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and Troy Polamalo hangin out together.

Amen :)

The same was true for the Dodgers and Giants.

Jackie Robinson was actually traded to the Giants in 1956. He retired instead of playing for the "enemy".

Reds get Sin-Soo Choo from the Tribe for Drew Stubbs

Reds acquire Choo in 3-team deal

CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Indians have traded outfielder Shin-Soo Choo to the Cincinnati Reds and acquired pitcher Trevor Bauer from the Arizona Diamondbacks in a three-team deal involving nine players.

Center fielder Drew Stubbs was sent from Cincinnati to Cleveland as part of the trade announced Tuesday night.

In addition to Stubbs, the Indians received Bauer, the No. 3 pick in the 2011 draft, and right-handers Matt Albers and Bryan Shaw from the Diamondbacks.

Cleveland shipped Choo, infielder-outfielder Jason Donald and cash to the Reds, while sending left-handed reliever Tony Sipp and first baseman Lars Anderson to Arizona.

The Diamondbacks also received minor league shortstop Didi Gregorius from Cincinnati.

It will be hard to distinguish between the boos and the "YOUUUUUK" chants. :)

I think the Fenway Faithful will-and should- cheer Youk........I know I will.

I agree. Youk was traded and a lot of fans blame Valentine for that. Players like Damon made a choice to leave. Circumstances like that probably help decide whether a fan boos or cheers...

Not in Boston. They continue to boo A-Rod despite the fact that he wanted to go to Boston and was willing to give up some salary to do so.
