They mentioned that the asking price for Dunn was crazy. The ALMOST had Prince Fielder, they agreed on the 1st two players...but the 3rd and fourth was asking too much. They stated they(the Brewers) litterally wanted their top 4 players in the minors AND cash. They were close in a 3-way trade to get Derrek Lee from the Cubs, but the 3rd team wanted too much in return.

He is tearing up the minors right now and he was due to come off the DL today.

That one for Prince Fielder was a VERY interesting one. Joe Maddon stated he was in constant contact with the GM and the owner of the Rays the last 2 hours of the trade deadline to the point of 1 phone call every 10-15 minutes, it was GREAT radio.:D
 
I sure hope the Reds do better the next 2 games than they did last night.

Dickerson has been injured as much as he has been healthy in his time with the Reds. The trade is OK by me. If Edmonds can give them anything at all he will be worth it.
Reds need to win tonight. Garcia is much more beatable than Wainwright who is scheduled to start for the Cards tomorrow. I don't want to go into Wednesday afternoon's game trying to avoid a sweep against Wainwright.

All the wildcard talk around here has been whoever doesn't win the AL East (Yankees/Rays) or the Red Sox.

BUT the AL Central loser cannot be discounted.

I watch when I can.
IF I can find them on TV somewhere.

My Steeler's come first.
This year, ALL games will be in HD, for quite awhile the Rams were not available in HD.
