MLB 2010 Season

Randy Wells of the Cubs has a No-Hitter thru 6 innings.........Yes I am trying to jinx him, because he is doing it against the Reds. :D

I surfed into the White Sox/Rangers game on WGN, and saw a lot of empty seats. pretty pathetic attendance for a first place club.

How about them Reds? 3 game lead in the Central now. YAY!!

When did the Angels turn in to nobodies in MLB ?

2 hits all day and No runs against the Chi Sox in the 8th.

I thought that were a LOT better than this.

edit:
Game Over,
Wh Sox 1, Angels 0,
Only 2 hits for the Angels.

Strassmas report: Through four innings, six strikeouts, one run, but 73 pitches. Nationals leading 2-1, and let me tell you, his 95 MPH curveball breaks like a frisbee.

Update: seven strikeouts through five, stranding the leadoff hitter who had doubled.

Up-update: eight strikeouts through six. 95 pitches, so he's probably leaving, with at least a 2-1 lead.

On the downside, this game might not sell out. Stay tuned.

Herb Score's record (50 strikeouts in his first 5 games) remains. Deep sigh of relief. :D

Hey, HD MM, how many strikeouts did Herb Score have through six games?

Meanwhile, Lester has a no-hitter through three, as the Red Sox lead, 11-0

Red Sox update: Toronto had just been mathemetically eliminated from winning, since the score is now 13-0 and, according to Yahoo Answers, no major league baseball team has ever come back from 13 runs down.

The biggest deficit that a team ever overcame to win a game is 12 runs. The Tigers were down 13-1 going into the bottom of the 5th inning on 6/18/1911. They won the game 16-15.
The A's tied this mark when they were down 14-2 in a game on 6/15/1925. They won the game 17-15...

On August 5th, 2001, The Indians completed the biggest comeback in MLB History. Being down to the Seattle Mariners, 12-0 in the 4th, and 14-2 in the 6th, the Indians rallied to win, 15-14 in 11 innings. Thus, it became know by baseball fans as The Impossible Return

Looks like the Roxs are now beginning their annual finish the season hot streak, like they do every year
And they are at it again, today! This team is amazing. Every single year about this time, they get some magic that I have never seen in any other team

If you watch, you'll see the Twins do the same thing starting a bit later thou, they always make a late run going thru the last weekend of the year.

It is not only the fact that they end strong, but how they win many of the games, like scoring 9 runs in the 9th to win a game.
