I have a strange question for you all:
Is it possible to map an OTA local channel to one of the local channels that Dish provides program guide info for?
I live in the boonies, and I only get one channel over the air, WDBB, which is a satellite broadcast of WTTO in Birmingham (the channel that Dish has program guide info for). It broadcasts everything just the same as WTTO, just on a different channel and frequency.
My question is, is there any way to trick the 622 into thinking that my WDBB OTA feed is WTTO so that I can get program guide info on it and record programs more easily? The 622 doesn't automatically map it because it is a different channel number, and right now all the program guide says for WDBB is "Digital Service" or something like that (so that I have to set up manual timers).
Thanks in advance for any help!
