Join the SatelliteGuys Folding@Home Team!

Wow you are going be turns out some good numbers when you get that! :)

You'll be happy with a 970, expect 200,000 or more points per day. I believe it's still the best folder for the money.

Thats not anything done by our servers, its just pulling the banners from http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/?nav=IMAGES
I know, I just thought maybe our servers were not grabbing the banners. :)
It used to be that the Sig Block image updated once a day, probably because the Xen software caches a local copy instead of pulling from the third-party server over and over. Today, my Sig image showed me having 75.5 Million Points. I then edited my image to change it slightly and saved it. My Total Points updated to match what EOC Stats currently show for my Folding username.

My Signature Block Before & After images:

The old Sig says 75,984,292 and the current (as of this writing) is 76,511,755. My average PPD is 219,862 which indicates the old signature image is over two days old.

I think the update changed the cached images timeout to more than a day. That's my theory!

Here we are, nine to ten hours later, and if I edit my Signature now, my EOC Stats looks like this instead of my sig block which is pulling up the one from 3:22 PM EDT.

Plus, even more bizarre is changing the link to the EOC image back to the original version produces the 75,984,292 Point version:

I have a couple of WU's ready to upload but not going. It is still grabbing new ones and working on those fine.
I even paused and reset the computer. No Windows or Nvidia updates in the last few days.
Any ideas? Don't see any thing on the folding forums about issues, so something must be weird on my side.

Hmmm, it looks like my iMac stopped Folding about six hours ago. Also, one of my Ubuntu CPU Folders is in a download crash loop (Project: 7527 (Run 46, Clone 4, Gen 97)), dying about 30 seconds after it download and starts.

Edit: I took care of the one bad WU on the Ubuntu box and now it's back on-line. I need to reboot the iMac anyway since it's El Capitán time! (2nd edit: Nope, just iTunes was updated. Still waiting to update)

I was going to say that temperatures where Scorpy lives have cooled off enough for him to fire up the big iron, but the new GTX card is a possibility, too.

The one thing I noticed is the big swing in Points depending on the Project being Folded. My GTX 960 seems to go between 130K and 180K PPD.

Go SatelliteGuys! We should be in the Top 100 Folding Teams before the end of the year!

Same here. Like right now my 960 is saying Estimated PPD 146786. Last project it was in the 170's.
I pause a lot during the day on this rig doing Photoshop, or my 24hr average would be a little higher.

Hours from Estonia! And Congrats (this time in the right thread!) to Voyager6 for exceeding 90 Million Points!

Soon I will take your place in the 80 Million Point Club. It won't even be cooled off. Hope you left enough champagne in the mini-fridge...

Woo-Hoo!!! LOTS of movement to report!

I noticed. Thanks!

Hopefully smasho gets to the 70,000,000 Club before the "Best by" date on the tasty beverages expires...
