So I’ve got a tech coming out on Tuesday to install an LMB for international programming. He came out today because initially we thought we could get the work done, but there are workers on the roof. My question is, he said something about a hybrid dish. We got the initial install back in 2018. Do I need a hybrid dish or something? Also, is the LMD a separate dish, or is it just something that hangs off the initial dish? he also said that he needed the new dish to pointe West. Well I have two separate dishes on my roof, one pointing west for international programming, and one putting some other direction for American programming? I want to add the willow cricket package. I am in Northeast Louisiana. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It's not the dish that is hybrid, but rather then LNB. The H3 does indeed need a hybrid LNB to handle 16 tuners. It sounds like you already have an Eastern Arc dish with a second Western Arc dish to handle the 118 FSS satellite. I am trying to remember if the hybrid LNB has an input... Ah... Yes, it does. It might be easier for your installer simply to bring down 3 cables from your existing Dishpro Plus gear and convert to hybrid that way.
Because your HD locals are on the Eastern arc 61.5, you do need the 2 dishes. the Western Dish is a DP500+ International with 1 cable coming from the left side output into the input on the Eastern Arc Hybrid Dish. If you had locals on the Western Arc 129, you could get away with 1 Dish - a DPP 500+ with a DP Dual Sidecar for the 129 into a 42 Switch
So I wonder if they could mount it on one pole, both dishes I mean, or would it have to be on a second pole? We are renting this house and I really don’t want to have any thing More drilling if I could avoid it. 
I may be mounted on the back of the pole that it’s on or something, because it’s got a look in the reverse direction for the international channels. Unless the dishes just connect to each other or something. I don’t know.

But HipKat, he says that it is going on a roof in his first post. This is a rental and he is concerned about landlord issues. I don't think a ground pole mount is in the cards. He has several threads going on these issues.
well the initial dish that I had went on the side of the house, as that’s where a dish was in originally. Meaning there was a dish there before we got our dish, so they just took that one down, and then put another one up.. I wonder than if the international dish could be mounted right next to it, or some thing, I don’t know if it’ll be on the roof or not, I kind of don’t want it to be, as they just finished repair work on the roof.
In my experience, a new roof on a rental is not going to get green-lighted by the landlord, but a pole mount might be an option.
Well he was the one who made the roof repairs, but like I said I really don’t want to put something on the roof if I don’t have to, especially because since the original dish that I had was not on the roof anyway, I don’t think anyway.
