HOPPER SPLIT ? From Tech/Electronic Illiterate Noob

I just got the Hopper w/Sling (hooked up to my wifi) & want to know if there is a way to put a splitter on it to a rarely used TV in the next room? I've read several articles & think there is but I need someone to explain it to me in the simplest of terms-I know nothing about splitters, cables, etc. Please help! I would really appreciate it guys. Thanx!

You can use one of the additional outputs on your Hopper to feed the TV in the next room. You can use one output or all three, and they will all show the same thing.

The Hopper has the following outputs:
HDMI
Component (red/green/blue and red/white connectors)
Composite (yellow/white/red connectors)

HDMI and component will give you an HD image (HDMI is the best quality, and is likely what your main TV is hooked up with if it is a newer flat panel TV), while composite is SD.

It depends on how your main tv is connected. (HDMI, Component or Red,White,Yellow(R/W/Y).

Get an RF modulator or an old vcr. Plug the R/W/Y cables into it and then run a coax from the modulator or old vcr to the other tv
or
run a set of R/W/Y cables directly to the other tv or a component cable(red,green,blue,red,white) or an hdmi cable to the other tv.

Depending on how many Joey's you have, you could also just move one in there temporarily when you need it.
