Technically you can run 4 dual tuner receuvers. I'm assuming you're referring to a 222 or 722. But with a seperator or triplexor on back of receiver you only need one line instead of two.
But if you want to run two cables from switch to the two inputs on receiver that's fine too. Just more cable and can only have two receivers instead of 4
 
Thanks Im thinking when you say 222 or 722 your talking about model of receiver. Whats a seperator or triplexor is that something like an sw21. I was thinking I could use that but connect backward

If the OP really has a sw 44 it takes two lines for a dual tuner, separators won’t work
