BTW I removed my Hopper + over a month ago and the J4 is still having the same issues - so it's an issue with the J4 or J4 software, not H+.
I had the black screen startup issue with one of my Joey 4s and had it replaced. No more issue. Wish I had the same luck with my WJ4. I would try a DISH Joey 4 replacement first.BTW I removed my Hopper + over a month ago and the J4 is still having the same issues - so it's an issue with the J4 or J4 software, not H+.
Understand. Call DISH and have then replace the JOEY 4 with the issue. Worth a try.I would try that, but like I've said in previous posts, I have two other J4's and I've switched them all to this TV and every one still has the same issue.
Not only do I have a single H3 and no Joey but get this -I'm still watching a stone age Panasonic plasma that 's only 1080P!Pry from my dead hands etc.Are people still having problems with the Plus if they only have a single H3 and no Joey? Other than slow operation?
Reread your post jgags6. Presumed you have tried another HDMI cable! Can you swap out TV under warranty? Do you have another TV to try out at that location? Have you tried swapping Joey coax at the splitter?Understand. Call DISH and have then replace the JOEY 4 with the issue. Worth a try.

No doubt.I suspect that Panny might be worth more today than what you paid for it!
Day 2 black screen on first startup of the day. Reboot brought her back. Going to call DISH today and have the WJ4 replaced. UnbelievableDay 1 after Google factory reset for my WJ4. Vizio and Joey started right up, no issues. Will post again in the morning.
Another thing to think about replacing the tv, If the problem is still there after the replacement.Day 2 black screen on first startup of the day. Reboot brought her back. Going to call DISH today and have the WJ4 replaced. Unbelievable
Yep. Probably soAnother thing to think about replacing the tv, If the problem is still there after the replacement.
Have you tried this particular WJ4 on a different TV? If so and it works ok then it's probably your TV as mentioned.Yep. Probably so
Tried that and everything else. One of my Joey 4s was doing the same thing and replacement fixed it.Have you tried this particular WJ4 on a different TV? If so and it works ok then it's probably your TV as mentioned.
