Great CSR experience! Needed to get package price lowered.

Wife was complaining that dish bill was on the rise.
She was correct.

Uverse has approached us with a an excellent deal.
Basically same package as ive had with dish.
Americas everything plus 3 dvrs. They call it U450.
I already have them for internet and phone.

Back story, Ive had Uverse in the past. Service was good not great. But they have improved while Ive been away.

However, Im not sold that Uverse is better than dish.
So, I called them up.(dish)

Dish csr made some adjustments and made me look like
a hero to wife. At least for the moment.

Way to go dish!!

They were able to give me a 3 months free HBO @ Showtime plus 20 discount for 6 months.
I think this was possible because I have not had any promotions for some time.
I think I got lucky. Plus every once in a while you get the right csr.

I think its helps to be ''nice''. Some folks think they have to give you
major discount with a demanding attitude.
I think its great to get something and most important do it nicely.

THe old "more flys with honey" philosophy. I'm a strong believer in it myself.

The CSRs with more experience know how to work their end of the system to help you. A always good to be courteous and reasonable.
