Fri Night Price is Right not in HD

is everyone else seeing the friday night showing of the price is right in SD (on the HD channel)? when it frist started a few weeks ago, it was in HD. but the last couple of weeks have been SD (on the HD channel). is it just our local CBS doing it, or dish, or is everyone seeing it this way?

It was in hd in New orleans. You need to email and call your station about this problem. If no one complains the station doesnt worry, or even know that their machine isnt switching properly.We have to do it all the time for the Baton Rouge, La stations.

It wuz in HD here as well and our local CBS often doesn't broadcast HD when it's available from the network.

When its like that call ur station and have them flip the switch, I hav't to do this all the time, kinda a pain in the ass don't know what these guys are doing down there! Playing hacky sack or something? lol

It was a big problem here when they first started broadcasting HD, I had to call two local stations regularly. Haven't had that problem for over a year now.

I honestly dont think that anyone at the station, watches the station.at work or at home.You can believe if the boss was at home watching csi miami or whatever and it was supposed to be in hd, but was in sd, he would have the direct line to the station and get it fixed instantly. I call and if i am lucky enough to get a live person, he usually has no idea what i am talking about. Maybe after the 3rd or 4th commercial break the machine will kick in the hd automatically, sometimes it doesnt kick in at all.
Either way on monday, someone would be in trouble.

I just got around to watching it last night. In Chicago, it was in HD.

Could be just your local CBS

I watch CBS ota. All NEW Letterman is HD, of course.
But occasionally, when the local OTA does an ACC basketball game(or anything) and goes over the 11 pm barrier, we found out the local cbs does not have the ability to record HD and re-transmit HD at a later time.
So, every once in a while, the Letterman OTA is SD.
