How about a option to change the look of the guide, the current guide is too hard for me to read the channel numbers. oh, and a way to chane the look of the info screen when you want to see what a show is about.
That's actually a TiVo feature, if I'm not mistaken. D* licensed it from them (TiVo) and now that Dish and TiVo have settled, Dish has access to that feature (and actually to the software code that implements it).Maybe it's a patent violation but I'd like to have a D* type Fast Fwd where the recording backs up a variable amount, depending on the FF speed, so that reaction time for stopping FF is accounted for.
#1 On my list would be header/tail recording when two programs are recorded back to back on the same channel.
#2 EHD access between Hoppers.
A transparent, single tuner solution would be better. There is an easy fix to #1 just give Hopper owners access to the HD channels in the 9000 range like we had on the VIP receivers. +1 for #2!

I'd like to big ole +1 this request. I still have 1 or 2 standard TV's that make it nearly impossible to see the guide on. I always kind of thought maybe there would be a large print or handicap option that would allow for something like this. Maybe even a choice to change the color backgrounds would help, say pure black and white on the menu's.
Another request would be if you could use the recall button to get back into the last viewed item no matter what it was. What I mean is if I'm watching a recording and flip to live TV to snag a score, weather or something. It'd be nice to press recall and pick back up into my recording where I was. I remember my old cable had that option.
How about PIP in my Joey?
Recall includes dvr events as well.
If you use the Guide settings-Format guide-Multi Channel On option you can recall the last stopped recording.

This one is coming and is in final testing now.The ability to transfer programs to an Android device instead of just to i-somethings.
