I am doing some troubleshooting with my VIP722 system and would like to know if the signal meter readout is the same for both the VIP722 and the older DVR510 receivers? Meaning, if I am on the same satellite, same transponder, same LNB, using the same cabling, but swapping the receivers, would they read the same signal level if both receivers were functioning properly?
BTW, on the signal meter screen for the DVR510, it does have the disclaimer that the meters have been updated and will show a lower level. If I remember right, that was from a SW update from several years ago.
