Rogers threw a gem today, Cabrera comes up HUGE (as Rod Allen would say) with a walk-off HR.
Tigers starting to look like the club everyone thought they would be.
I was about to say the same thing, but don't want to jinx them.
They are getting good pitching and timely hitting, at least in the White Sox series.
They play the Dodgers next and usually do well against the NL, ao it's a good chance for them to do some winning and see if they can get back into this thing.
This past series was huge as they could have been 12 GB had they played like they had previously.
Lets watch the next several weeks and see what happens, they will either show that they are coming together or it was just a fluke week of playing well.
I was listening to todays game and thought they played well, but were not getting the big hit till the 6th when they scored the 1st run and when Cabrara came up in the ninth I waited for the inning to be over before going to my next sub...
At the time I was thinking, Come on Maguel, this is what we brought you over here foe, coming up with the big hit, and he did today with a 2 out HR to win the game.
Leyland said the other day that he felt that Cabrara was just now starting to feel comfortable against the AL pitchers....
