wait, so what do I need to do to get this through star choice? I need the equipment, the dish installed, etc... Can I just call them up and order service? Or do I have to actually live in Canada to do this? Do I need a reqular servicae package commitment to get the ST through star choice or can I JUST get the ST?

Unless you get all the needed hardware 100% free AND manage to subscribe to ONLY the NFL package they have, this will end up costing you more money than just paying the extra DirecTV fee.

Actually , the Fcc mandated that the top 100 dmas go full power on digital transmissions by July 1, 2005. The other 110 dmas have untill July 1, 2006.
