I apologize I am not technical I have a new 34 Direct tv replaced today questions the guy set up DEFAULT FIRST run ONLY all episodes keep til what I do not get is First run only Example my local news is on at 11 pm new and repeat at 1 30 should it not repeat the 1 30 it dose and shows like ESPN first take and sports nation do to is their away to tell shows in first run only which should not repeat in first run only ?

We have already explained this to you more than once. If the information in the description doesn't show the 1:30 show as a repeat it will record both episodes.

Tonight's 11 pm news, will have TODAY'S date in the info section ...

The replay of the 11 pm Tuesday night news will get recorded again at 1:30 am because the 1:30 am info will still have Todays info in it, mainly because theres no real reason to worry about a replay of the news.

IF by some chance you looked at the 1:30 am listing and it showed tomorrows date on it, it would NOT record a second time.

My local news repeats do not show a first air date, because it's obvious. If I set up a recording, it records both.
