I blame Buck Martinez. Keep him the hell outta the booth.
Why, you don't like "David Ortez"?

I doubt it. The Rays own Boston as I said earlier in this thread. What was that about how the Rays were doing so badly?Oh well, we'll go get 'em tomorrow.

Own?? In 2008 the Rays won the regular season series 10-8 and the postseason series 4-3. Is that your criteria for "owning"??I doubt it. The Rays own Boston as I said earlier in this thread. What was that about how the Rays were doing so badly?

Did I mention that Boston pitching blows? My favorite team stinks and its pissing me off. Its an absolute embarrassment.
What did they do while the Yankees went and got CC?
They scraped the old goat Smoltz off the floor.
When your pitching staff gives up 11 runs in a game to the ARODless yankees and is good medicine for the last place Rays then they stink. The Rays hitters cannot wait to face them and once AROD is back Boston will not be able to out hit the yankees anymore.
Its time to trade Ortiz while they might be able to fool someone into thinking he can still get around on the ball. His job is homers not doubles.
Man I am sick of losing to Tampa. In their fake stadium on their fake grass. And their silly rules about hitting the dome.
The Red Sox make their first ever trip to "The House That Juice Built", starting a two game series tomorrow night (weather permitting):
Monday night: Jon Lester vs. Joba Chamberlain
Tuesday night: Josh Beckett vs. A.J. Burnett
They didnt do so well in the elements in Philly. They were too busy shivering from the cold. But the thing is, the Rays can play anywhere. They are, IMO, by far the most balanced team in the Majors.
They have power, contact hitters, speed, defense and outstanding pitching.
Red Sox outfielder/first baseman Mark Kotsay continued his rehab with the PawSox Sunday afternoon, but suffered a setback in his second plate appearance of the game.
In the bottom of the third inning, the left-handed hitter hit a grounder in the hole at short, and while he was running up the first-base line, he pulled up and was thrown out. He crossed the bag and bent over in pain.
