AL CENTRAL

Another loss for Galarraga in Baltimore. Why is he still on the team?

Counterpoint - Because he pitched pretty well yesterday, and all of April, and last year. Tiger's left over a dozen on the bases yesterday. Pitching wasn't the problem, finding a clutch hit was. We left the bases full in two different innings. The 3 double plays with two on didn't help either.

Plus, Larish has gone cold although he did have a knock last night. It just surprises the ever-luvin' hell outta me to see Grandy batting so low in the order now.

Well put Paul :)

Gallaraga went into the 8th inning trailing only 2-1 ....
I would consider that to be a very nice outing, the fact he gave up a few runs in the either was also due to a LACK of a bull pen.

He HAS to snap out of it or this team will go no where in the end.
He should be in the .300 - .320 area, in my opinion, however now that he has decided to be a HR threat, I don't expect him to hit as he should.

Willis pitching well so far... still early.
Tiger Defense has decided to take the night off.

2 DP balls were bobbled and another ground ball muffed by Everett, so far tonight, in the third inning.
On a positive note, no score and Clete Thomas with his new Tommy John arm threw out a runner at third from RF.

I love the "Suitcase " sized strike zone they have in MLB these days ....
Wish they would learn to call balls and strikes the way it's SUPPOSE to be called.

Jimbo

AMEN to that!

I'm getting sick and tired of the umpires these days!

As if the Indians needed any more bad news...looks like "Pronk" ain't comin' back for awhile.

UPDATE! Sizemore now on DL with elbow issues.

Just another lost season in Tribeland.....

Tigers and J. Verlander win again tonight, JV. is now 6-2 after starting 0-2.

Detroit 6
Baltimore 3

Good to see them win on a night where Verlander didn't have his "A" game. It was more like a "B+" effort. Clete Thomas had a big afternoon hitting 2 out to the cheap seats.

This sure beats last season, don't it Detroit fans?

I don't exactly remember, but I know we had a losing record. I beleiev we might have been about 6-7 games under .500 at the end of May.

It's nice to be in first, but I always thought the season didn't really begin till after Memorial day. we need to win in our division rival's parks. Simple math will tell you if you win one more than you lose out of every 7 games, you end up about 23 games over .500 - in this case that's enough wins to win this division. The biggest difference this season is the pitching. Team ERA is under 4.00, that's impressive for the AL.

White Sox got to Zack Greinke for a run in the top of the 1st.

White Sox going for the sweep against the Royals.

Methinks our bro HD is hurting pretty badly this morning. The Cavs shocking failure to make the finals and the Tribe season unwinding before his very eyes.

Here's some luv, big guy! :heart

Matt is a young man, he will have plenty of time left in his life to see a few championships. It could be worse, he could have been a Cubs fan.:D

OK, who actually PLAYS sports?

Shaq once had a video game of his own- a fighting game!
