Personally, I think it has to do with nerves and or pressure, but that being said he did very well when playing elsewhere. Of course there may have been less pressure, then again, he was IN a World Series ....

The D-Train is a character (in a positive way), and IMO, baseball needs more of those personalities. :up

Love your optimism Jimbo, but this team cannot hit..Polanco, mags, Granderson and yes Even Miggy are killing them. I just don't get it.
As for Dontrelle, I gotta say he has not hit 94-95 on the gun since he was a rookie, he has hit that a few times tonight and he is locating better then I can remember...Looks hopeful at least.

Your right, it's amazing that they are not pounding the ball, not everyone can have a bad year at the same time, can they ????
Cabrera hit very well coming out of spring training ... Magllio has yet to hit.
There was an article read today about them possibly getting out of the Magglio contract as it will cost them a ton in the next few years.

Actually yes, I wanted him traded when he had value. I hate this lineup..We need more speed and more lefty hitters. Have you noticed all the central teams are loaded with lefty's?
Polancos contract is up too at the end of the year..I think this team had guys who had career years in 06 and some last year..Mags is done as far as I can see. Bottom line is 7,8,9 will not nor are they expected to support this team and our top half of the lineup is killing us right now.
This team just has no killer instinct and they need it..Just watched larish try to slide into home, he almost killed his self, He should have run redman over...
Frustrating, I hope the whole summer is not like this..
Well it's 3-2 , they scored to close the gap and your still not happy.
I think Palonco will and should be back. Do you have anyone in mind that is better defensivly than Palonco.
His clutch hitting has been lacking, but his defense has been as always very good.
