BIG Weekend coming up for them...
They will either be right back in it, or OUT of the race by the end of the weekend.
Not out-of-the-race, but they will certainly raise the red flag. It seems like we've waiting for this team to "go nuts" and show the league why they're a top team. But we're running out of games...

I actually think today is a big game for the White Sox. If they can win today, they are auusred of still being in 1st when they leave Detroit. Can't wait for the Sunday night matchup, Sale vs Verlander. Both had bad starts Tuesday, will be interesting to see if they can bounce back.
I actually meant by the end of NEXT weekend, when they play another series with the same Sox.
Verlander has been in a funk the last 3-4 starts, good time for him to get it turned around.
Once again Tigers can't get a key hit when they need one .... leaving people on 2b and 3b , just like yesterday.
Theres NO REASON that if you have a lead off double that you shouldn't be able to score him.
Well, well, well...if the Tigers have an extra gear they had better shift into it soon or get left behind. Lick wounds tonight and come back fighting tomorrow.
End of weekend, Sox will either be tied, or lead by 2, 4, or 6. Really can't afford to be swept in Detroit again and I don't think it will happen. My bet is that they will split Fri & Sat, setting up a great matchup Sunday night.
I'm more excited about this series than I have been for any since opening day. The tigers have to take care of business when they get their chances to go head to head with the sox.
Between this series, my Irish opener in Ireland, and Michigan and Michigan State's big opening games it will be a great sports weekend.

White Sox have stranded a lot of runners. Tigers need to take advantage of their opportunities. Good game. Go Tigers!
