Good news for the Tigers and Victor Martinez.
Doctor say he should be back in September (and the playoffs if they get there).
Also, Fister has a rehab start in Toledo on Wednesday and if all goes well, will start for the Tigers next week.
Also, Max Scherzer says he has found his issues that has had him pitching poorly ...
Last time he went into something like this, he found it and was EXCELLENT fore the rest of the year.
Why it tgook him so long, I don't know, isn't that why they have Pitching coaches to find these issues and correct them, what took so long ?
For those struggling Tigers 2-8 in the last 10 and back at .500 at 11-11 ..... They were 12-16 at this point last year.

Yep, and they are going to Porcello on normal rest today. They said Below will go back to the bull pen because Fister is scheduled to be back in time for his next start. Looks like Below will have to wait a while longer to make his debut as a starter in the big leagues. Fister being back is the best thing for the Tigers but its too bad the rain took away Below's shot.
I guess if you're gonna lose....might as well do it the best way possible
