I might be wrong but I think we were still tied with them.

Could have been, but they were listed first on that day ... don't know how they decide when that happens.

Tigers are playing very poorly anyways ...

Coming into the Mariners series, I expected them to take 2 of 3 ... THAT didn't happen.

Detroit Tigers OF Delmon Young faces hate-crime charge in New York - ESPN New York

Not good. All we need in the middle of this slump is one of our best hitters getting suspended. From what I have heard so far though he hasn't been suspended yet and they are still thinking about whether or not to let him play tonight against the Yankees. These are grown men that should be able to make their own decisions and be responsible enough to stay out of bad situations. However, after Cabrera's incidents and now this I'm thinking Leyland or Dombrowski should seriously consider prohibiting all members of the team from going to bars during the season. Cabrera has been in trouble twice and now Young. It's starting to give the team a bad reputation and it needs to stop.

Just what I want in a teammate...out till 4AM getting hammered! Look, I know they are not angels (No...not THOSE Angels!!!!) but c'mon. At some point in your life you have to realize you have certain responsibilities to your TEAM as well as yourself.

That is why I applaud guys like Curtis Granderson who basically stays put in his hotel room while on the road unless he is out promoting one of his MLB or charity involvements. These are guys who know the drill. They have the same needs, desires and drives as any other red-blooded twenty/thirty something. Yet they have found a way to control themselves and make the most out of their careers and reputations. Maybe they go hog-wild and get it on big time...but it's in private and controlled.

I have a feeling he will be on the DL, team is off to a bit of a rough start. Not what they need right now

It's early but tigers getting some much needed hits, up 3-1 right now

Curious, I just read the article above ....
Where did you read that he was out at 4:30 am ?

From the article :
"Around 2:30 a.m., Young was standing outside of the Hilton New York."

Not saying that it makes ANY of this OK, just wondering.

Tigers didn't Land in NY till 10:30pm.

After a very good start to the season, the Tigers have dropped all the way to .500 at 10-10 ... wernt they 7-3 at one time ?

Yes, not looking good on or off the field at this time.

Ugh! Hopefully we get Fister back soon...real soon.

Most recent I have heard about Fister is , its not healing as quickly as expected, I would guess another week or two.

Sent from my Samsung Epic using SatelliteGuys

Lets see how the Tigers can blow todays game .... different way every day ...

Keep in mind, we have seen them all a few years back when they lost 119 was it .
