Tigers haven't hit enough of late, but today was a BAD way to lose a game, Rangers score winning run on a ball that was clearly foul. :(

Yep that was clearly a blown call and one of those umpires should have been able to correct him.

Seattle is coming to town for a 3-game series tonight. The question for tonight is which Max Scherzer will show up to the ballpark?

Against Seattle it may not matter. Then again, every MLB team is capable of beating any other MLB team on any night. You would hope that even if he gave up 5 or 6 runs our high powered offense would be able to keep us in the game. That hasn't been the case in the last 2 series but its about time for the bats to come alive again.

Max was shaky in the first, only gave up 1 run.
Better in the second.
E on Inge playing 2b today, wait, they changed it to a hit now.
Also Raburn in LF, so they have no interest in getting the team going in the right direction yet.

Both are hitting almost .200 .

edit:
Make it 2-0, thanks Inge.

UGH! Why is it when Bert takes a couple days off they bring in "Captain Bland" Tom Kelly to be the color guy? He's boring and adds nothing to the game. Who cares if 12 guys have stopwatches to see how fast the pitcher delivers to the plate?

And what sucks is he always calls Dick Bremer "Richard" when he addresses him.

I love TK, but he is not a color guy.

I have to agree. I watched a few innings both today and yesterday on MLB.tv and I can't believe how monotone and boring that guy is. Luckily he isn't a normal part of the game but it sure seems like they could have found a better sub. After a little while he had me listening to that wild Boston accent on NESN.

Ugh! I see the Tigers starting #3-#5 remains just as reliably inconsistent as last year. Anyway, Tigers have an afternoon game today...so Porcello is going to have to pitch well, and we're going to have to find our hitting sticks, in order to salvage one win in this series.

Yes, after a good start tigers have cooled off. I see the tribe in first right now

Not if the Tigers can finish off the comeback. I would love to see them finish every single day of the regular season in first place. They need the win today for that to be possible though.

Too funny! I don't care if we're not leading the division on May 1st (well, perhaps I care a little)...just as long as we're ahead of the pack come October 1st. ;)

Yep that dream is over with. I'm not worried in the slightest though. I know this team will be much much better than they are playing right now on both offense and pitching. It's very early in the season. No need to overreact to a week and a half of bad baseball.

I believe the Wh Sox were in 1st earlier for a day or so already.
