AL Central 2010

I dont mind Interleague but to a point.

Yes when Milwaukee comes to town its big because well its Milwaukee...and us Twins fans dont like the Brewers :)

But I dont see folks getting excited for a Mariners/Astros game or a Blue Jays/Diamondbacks game

One of my favorite dome memories was a ten inning game with the Brewers (1992 I think, was that before Milwaukee switched leagues?). Dan Gladden hit a walk off homer just inside the left field foul pole.

The crowd was half and half in loyalty and the place was full and very loud.

nice 1st inning by the Twins

12 men to plate
new guy gets 1st base hit
pitcher balks
pitcher almost gets thrown out arguing with ump
pitcher lasts 1/3 inning

7-0 Twins :)

My favorite Dome Memory is the game Jack Morris Pitched :D

Hard to argue with that! I was referring to games I was fortunate enough to be in the crowd for. I'd have to add being there for the presentation of the rings for the '87 Series in 1988 and Kirby Puckett bobblehead day when my ticket stub was posted on the screen as a winner. The bobblehead still sits on my entertainment center.

How do you know that I was not there for the Morris pitched game ? :D

I wasn't, buy you never really know ...:D

I know what you were referring to, but had to throw in my favorite Dome game as well, I would imagine that, THAT game is high on your list of Dome accomplishments too.

I don't. I just know I wasn't! ;)

That wasn't just one of the best games in the dome. Since it was a Game Seven and had that level of performance, I'd say it has to be pretty high up on the all-time list.

And to think, I waited all day .... for the Tigers to get Pounded like this ?

Come on Tigers, trailing 6-2 to the Dodgers in the 7th.

WOW!!!

WHAT A GAME!!!

Twins win 8-7 in 12....and I'm burnt to a crisp ;)
more later....

You got more than your money's worth! I had to leave the tv or radio several times, thinking the game would be over when I got back. Still saw the last two innings.

How was the stadium?

Tigers bottom of the line up are just GREAT at clearing the bases .....
with Double plays ......

Autsin Jackson just got hit in the head and is now out of the game, hope he's ok.

Tigers had thier chance to get back into this one, with the bases loaded last inning and failed to score.
Next batter, Brendan Boesch then hit one out.

Tigers still trail 6-3

Worth in for Jackson.

I was ready to leave in 9th...was in RF waiting on the plaza and then Milwaukee takes the lead...then Twins tie it so back to my seat :)

How was the stadium?

unf**king believable....it is gorgeous :)

Took about 150 pictures :)

Wow, Brennan Boesch can rake! This kid is awesome, I thought Action Jackson was a good rook, look at this guy!

I'm just a little excited about this kid.

To bad Inge still can't hit a curve ball.

And from what I've heard, the other ones in Toledo are as good or better.
Brent Dlugish (SS) and Ryan Strieby (OF) niether of which are hitting much this year so far.

I look for Dlugish to be thought of seriously next year at SS unless Mr. D goes out and gets one.

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
