AL Central 2010

Had to listen to beginning of the Sox/Twins game on XM, it was the Twins broadcast. Twins radio PBP guy is clueless. Wondered when the Sox hdn't played Dayan Viciedo this series, he's not on the roster. Giving wrong info about Teahan's injury. Does he not do any research before the games?

BTW, Sox up 5-0 in the 5th, hammering Pavano pretty good.

Here's an article for all you Hawk Harrelson haters:

Don't think the Sox have any interest in either one of them, they were interested in Damon before the season, but they need a LH Power Hitter don't think he's one to help them.

I don't think they ever had interest in Inge, they have a good hitting 3b.

All the talk from Inge was that he was gonna hit much better when his knees got healthy and he did for a short while, but it was only for about 3 weeks, then he went back to hitting lousy and striking out alot, he almost struck out once a game, thats pathetic.

Even if Inge leave/gets traded or whatever, I would be shocked if he wasn't in a Tigers uniform next year. He's said before that he loves the Tigers and would only want to end his career here.

I could see the guy taking a pay cut just to stick around or come back.

If they let him go, they will be looking for another 3b man, you think he'd come back as a Sub ?

I'm guessing he would, he could play outfield, short, catcher, hell the guy was a pitcher at one point.

But I don't believe he is a Tom Brookens at this point. Not yet, he still has value at the position.

I just thought it was funny that even though it was a blow out, they took him out of the game last night against the Yankees.

Inge never comes out of games.

I don't know, he fought for years to find a position and become a regular, if the Tigers ask him to come back as a sub after all he's been thru ..... I think if he can catch on with someone as a Starter he would do that.

This is the time of year that players are put on waivers often, if they get claimed, they can be brought back by the team offering them ..... So neither will probably be gone.
However this allows the team to know if others are interested in them too.

Of course they don't HAVE to pull them back ....

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
