AL Central 2010

you sure about that whole season thing?

Det 09 month by month

April 11-10
May 17-11
June 15-13
July 10-14
Aug 16-13
Sep 16-12
Oct 1-4

Twins month by month
April 11-11
May 14-16
June 15-12
July 12-12
Aug 14-14
Sept 16-11
Oct 5-0

Both teams stayed pretty much consistent throughout the season. The Twins only were 1/2 game better than Detroit in Sept. In October Detroit couldnt hold the lead :)

Det held onto 1st for 146 games though. They deserved the title.

Tom this ain't little league where "everyone gets an award" :)

If we're using your theory then Tony Stewart won the NASCAR championship last year because he was in 1st with 10 races to go (when NASCAR cuts it off for the chase)

on a side note (and totally off topic) I noticed in your sig you have a Radio Shack U-75 antenna for OTA. Sold many of those when I worked for Rat Shack back in the day. Nice antenna :)

I have a U-120 as my OTA antenna here in Minneapolis :)

Yeah its made for UHF only though, I need to get a VHF-Hi/UHF combo unit, any suggestions? been putting it off all spring.

Everything locally for you but Channel 12 is UHF already. Those UHF only antennas work good for the high VHF band if you're close enough. We have 9 & 11 here in Mpls on VHF Hi so I'm in the same boat. I get good enough signal on those (88 & 92) on the UHF antenna (the rest of my stations show as 98-100 except for 2 low powered stations.

You might want to head over to the OTA area
Digital Over the Air (OTA) - SatelliteGuys.US

where there is some good info. Some of those guys know more about OTA than I do. I just thought about going to Rat Shack and getting a bigger VHF/UHF combo antenna and calling it a day.
If you havent checked, go to tvfool.com and it will tell you the best kind of antenna to get. But right now according to the FCC maps you're pretty well set for local reception...unless you wanted the Detroit stations. Then you'd have to upgrade to a larger antenna :)

I want to upgrade too but just havent got around to it ;)

I can get all my locals on D* in HD except CW.

I'd rather watch Detroit channels with it. They're also all UHF except 1 channel, which fades in and out depending on the time of day since I have ZERO VHF gain. The others are touch and go too.

yeah it looks like Fox id the only one on VHF. So a big antenna would work the best to make sure they are stable all the time

I would ask in the OTA area honestly for two reasons
1. to get the off topic stuff out of this thread ;)
2. The OTA guys know what they're talking about

poor Jimbo is going to log on tomorrow/later today and go "what the heck happened to this thread?" :)
Where did these posts come from

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
