AL Central 2010

Twins aren't the better team, if they were they would have won.
Why are you arguing with yourself? Better teams lose all the the time during the regular season. The Tigers may be the better team, but a single series in April doesn't mean much, we'll find out more when the Tigers play a 3-game series at Minnesota next week...we'll find out much more as the season progresses...and we'll know all come October.

Anyway, I am so glad the Tiger will no longer be playing baseball in that god awful domed contraption up there in Minnesota. :)

Dontrell Willis pitched a gem today, Tigers take the series from the Twins.

Listening to that guy in his post-game interview, I really can't understand what he is saying. He's got something going on still, or he's just hopped up on something.

He's probably on anti-depressants. He was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder last year.

You been to Target Field yet?

for a Twins game not yet but I will be soon ;)

got a buddy I know who has season tickets so I might get to go to a few games :)

I did go to the MN Gophers/Louisiana Tech college game that was a week before the spring training games the Twins had. The Goofer game was a trial run to see how everything would work :)

Tigers Austin Jackson is hitting .330 so far and another 3 hits tonight to lead all rookies.

Playing pretty good Centerfield.

Curious yankee fans, how do you feel about Austin now.

I know it's still early and he still strikes out alot, but I like what I'm seeing so far. :up

Although it's early in the season, it's starting to look like it will be a two team race in the AL Central. Also, as much as I appreciate the "big bats" and solid relief pitching, Detroit's starting rotation needs to show vast improvement during May.

It will be interesting to see how Jackson does the second time around the league, once they have a good idea of what he's doing.
Time to make some very good adjustments at that point.

Hopefully he and the hitting coach can work on cutting down on the K's ....

He's off to a pretty good start so far, let hope he can keep it up !

As you well know Jim, the starting pitching will come around and then the hitting will STOP .....

Tigers seem to never be able to put it all together at the same time for any duration of time.
That IS what the very good teams do, play consistently Good ball.

Pitching is boring to watch. I live for slugfests like last night.

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
