AL Central 2010

Yeah its made for UHF only though, I need to get a VHF-Hi/UHF combo unit, any suggestions? been putting it off all spring.

Do they still have the 160 available ?
If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's UHF/VHF and I use it daily, I've had it quite awhile now so not sure if they still have it.

I'm really impressed with Damon this season.(Hitting streak is at 15 games now.) He's a pro's pro. Leyland must love having this guy.

Wouldn't have believed anyone that told me the Tigers would hit like this, this season. This team is a doubles machine. When the starting rotation comes around this could be kind of fun.

BTW, did you know our starting rotation is the youngest in MLB? Astounding but true.

Plus, he actually knows how to dress like a baseball player; he rolls-up his pants and pulls-up his sox. :up

Rule#1 - you cannot be a baseball player when your pants are dragging on the ground.

Wouldn't want that

Can we borrow some offense?

The Indians starting pitching has been a relative surprise. As for their bats though, my God! Hide the woman and children. It's that ugly!

Just out of curiosity when did letting your pant legs drag on the ground become stylish in the big leagues? For whatever reason I didn't take noticed until I was at Washington Nationals game a couple years ago and three-quarters of the teams were ass draggers. If I were a big league manager nobody would play unless they were property attired.

Just look at how silly two of these players look...

On a Detroit note - I'm very impressed with Austin Jackson. Granderson has nothing on this kid in the fielding department. He needs to cut down the K's, but he is hitting around .325. Not to shabby.
So far, so good...but the kid is whiffing too much and his play in center field is a little shakey at times. Still, the kid is showing a lot of potential at this stage of the game.

In the AL the Tigers Bullpen is 1st in innings pitched, 1st in wins, 1st in ERA, tied for 1st with holds, and 2nd in opponent batting average.

Yes this is true, but the starting pitching 28th in the League. When it comes down to it the Tigers will still finish in 2nd or 3rd in the Central. The Twins are much better team. And the Twins bullpen isn't much worse than Detroit. Also keep in mind the Twins lost what many can argue as the best Closer in the Baseball. Yes they had a complete and utter meltdown last nigh. However, it wouldn't have turned out that way had it not been for the Ump blowing Span catch call.

Well...the better team just lost 2 out-of-three 3 to the Tigers; final score 3-0. The Tigers starting rotation has been a letdown, but they just logged a couple solid performances during this series. To be honest, I predicted the Tigers to finish 2nd in the division...but if the starting rotation can can live up to their potential they will certainly be in the running.

If they're better why'd they lose the series? Oh I know it was the umps. Twins fans are always sore losers. :p

Forgot the sarcasm. "Well...the better team just lost 2 out-of-three 3 to the Tigers; final score 3-0." Better?

You can't make too much out of an April series, but I get the feeling these two teams will be duking it out come September.

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
