you are just mad that they didnt do a coin toss like previous years. Old Bud got it right with head to head meetings decides who gets the playoff game

If the Twins have more wins at the end of the season then THEY should go.
If Tigers would have bothered to play good ball last year at the end it would not have been close.
Twins played GREAT ball down the stretch.
That's not fair, you should have to play great for the whole season like the Tigers did last year, not just for a few weeks. Its like on Jeopardy!, one player dominates the whole show but ends up losing because they got the final question wrong. :rant:
Win one, lose one....nothing has changed in the standings. Tomorrow's afternoon rubber game should be a good one.
But the Tigers did NOT play great all year.....
They STUNK it up big time in the last month of the season.
They ended the season 16-16 in Sept./Oct.
Lost two series to the hated Wh Sox and a series to the Twins down the stretch

Twinkies got lucky in game 163 though. Tigers would have made it past the first round.

Both teams stayed pretty much consistent throughout the season. The Twins only were 1/2 game better than Detroit in Sept. In October Detroit couldnt hold the lead
