AL Central 2010

Really liking the Damon signing.
He is a very professional hitter and knows how to work the count and not afraid to hit with 2 strikes.
Rarely strikes out.
Seems to get the job done when they need it the most, always comes up late in the game when they need a hit or walk .

So far, so good. Tonight the Tigers battled back to tie the game in the 9th...but the relief didn't come through this evening.

Twins win 9-7 in 12

Hate to say it but the last play was kinda controversial. You could tell the umps just wanted the game to end with it raining all night. The Royals player was safe at 2nd by a good second and they called him out

Dare I say it but a BIG series this Tuesday-Thursday with Twins/Tigers?

Way too early ..... Yes it's a BIG series for the teams.
The Twins could find themselves 6 games up on the Tigers by Thursday, or they could be tied ......

My thoughts, with the way the Tigers starters have pitched.

Twins take 2 of 3 maybe all three.
IF the Tigers win, they will win in the bullpen.

At least these games start at a decent time.

Tues - Liriano vs Verlander ( JV is VERY due for a game of his ability) 7:05 est
Wen - Baker vs Sherzer (Sherzer has been Very good or bad) 7:00 est
Thur - Pavano vs Willis (Pavano has been a Tiger killer for years now, Willis is well Willis, ya just never know.) 1:05 est
