722 Hardware or Software Problem?

When I tune to the OTA channel 5.1 (KTLA) and I rewind on the Dvr and press play after a few seconds it will all of a sudden go to "live tv". Now if I tune to another OTA or even another Sat feed channel, I do not have that problem. I thought it could be the remote so I took out one of the batteries the problem still occurs. The software version that is running on the 722 is L6.14. This problem just started. Would an option be to change the remote adress, maybe a neigbor has the same remote adress.

Have you performed a soft or hard re-set?

Actually I just did that, by pressing in the power button on the receiver, just not sure if that is a soft or hard reset. No, did not work. Is there another way to reset.

Or anyone have any other ideas?

I do pay for the extra insurance, would it be just about that time to give Dish a call?
