2019-20 NCAA Football Thread

Looks like Florida’s QB Felipe Franks may be out for the season with a leg injury. Bent over backwards going for it on a 4th down.
That looked bad, hope he is ok.

Speaking of going for it on 4th down, did you catch the Miss State qb going airborne and getting upended for his effort? Watching it live I almost looked away because he went so high, and I was certain he was going to break something when he landed. Fortunately for him, he hit just right and was ok. Unfortunately for him, he was a half yard short. Hell of a effort though.

This crap is exactly why I've quit watching much football and sports in general. I guess I'll have to give up watching anything other than mainly Notre Dame on OTA. ESPN has suddenly decided conference games will be on espn + beginning with WVU/KU this week. Then OSU/KSU next week. This will be twice this month to be on that sh!tty service. Asinine putting the best match up of the week on a streaming service in which half the people in those States probably don't have fast enough internet to stream the damn thing.

I'm sure someone at the conference office didn't read the fine print or just didn't say anything as it was proposed only the T3 non conference games would be on there.:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Wow, trying to build a sub base for the service to coincide with Disney+ launch?

That sucks for the fans.

Is it really the best match, or is ESPN putting something better *cough*SEC*cough* instead?

Joking aside, ESPN tends to favor the SEC over the other conferences it has deals with (Big XII, ACC).

Big Ten was smart to deal with Fox instead of ESPN when setting up their network.

They've been doing that with the ACC Network. Threw Clempson's opener onto the new network even though almost no one carries it.
At launch it was carried by dish, direct, charter, and all the major streamers, plus a variety of smaller cable companies. Cox and FiOS also carry it now.

Only big one I can think of that might not carry it is Comcast.

They strong armed Charter into picking it up as part of their renewal of Disney channels.

Aggies stunk up the place. Year 2 under Jimbo they seem to have regressed on both sides of the ball. They have no running game and QB Kellen Mond plays with blinders on. Great teams almost always have a QB with a drive to win at any cost or what some call IT Factor and Mond has none of it from what I'm seeing. I'll be gland when they turn the page with someone else.

Has anyone else noticed these TV broadcast college games are lasting 4+ hours now? Something has to change. 6 pm kickoff and these games are still going at 10:30 pm some even pushing 11 pm.

Seems like a lot of players going down with cramps and other injuries. That and incompetent refs leading to long replay reviews are taking time I suppose.

Is Mond a Jr or Sr ?
When I first saw him he looked like he was going to be Great ... I'm wondering if Jimbo and the QB coach have dropped the ball with him ... much like the Buckeyes did with JT Barrett, he was Very good his Freshman year and never quite as good after that.

He is a Junior, the aggies do have the top commitment according to what ESPN/SEC channel are saying Haynes King.
