That would be logistically stupid and nearly impossible.
Can you imagine being that team and having to travel to the US 8 times a year.
They ran the ball on 3rd and 20 with 19 seconds left and no timeouts, and then only were able to kick the FG after a questionable delay of game.
They probably wouldn't make that many trips. A few 2 or 3 game road trips, staying in the U.S. in-between would do the trick....
Unless you're a season ticket holder of a team losing a game to London, I don't understand the opposition to it. I watched much of this morning's game from my living room, just like if the game had been played in Atlanta...

That's why they're doing these games and slowly expanding it, rather than rolling out an entire second league. Not sure how you can compare the two efforts really.
If they were able to kick the FG they obviously didn't go for 20 yards on 3rd down, they were already in good FG range.
How do you get a questionable "Delay of game" either it was or it wasn't.
You can't turn that down.

As for stupid Goodell, if he really wants to plant a team over there he should resign the NFL and move over there and develop his own league if it means that much to him.
Who is being asked to play there 5 times? I could make up stuff to debate things too but I prefer to stay within the realm of possibility.
Also, it is the owners who want to expand, Roger is just driving the bus. But keep inventing things to pretend like it's all Roger to fuel that irrational hatred some of you have for him.
