I'm currently watching the Cincinnati Bengals-Indianapolis Colts game. I live in Georgia & I avoid watching the Falcons like the plague. Good thing they'll never make it to the Super Bowl.

This it the very 1st time I can ever remember saying this but ....

The DETROIT Lions DEFENSE has WON a game ...

Every year the D is thier Achilles heal ...not this week.

Well you watched a lopsided game.

I think experts make it a point to show that every year an average 5 of last years playoff teams don't make it. It's early but can the Bengals, Seahawks, 49ers and Panthers be in this years group?

I think that the only constant you can depend on this season is the Oakland Raiders, although I wouldn't be surprised if they do defeat the Cardinals today. I also think that they'll do the unthinkable & actually start winning games now that they have a QB.

Peyton Manning has Tied Brett Favre for TD's in the NFL.
Probably will set the record soon, 2 TDs so far tonight and they are in the 2nd q.

Two HUGE calls led to two touchdowns against the Raiders ... one absolutely criminal roughing the passer penalty and another terrible PI call. What is a defender to do.. He is is AHEAD of the reciever, he turns around to slow because he has as much right to the ball as a receiver, the receiver bumps into him...PI...and WAY after the play. The roughing call was so bad... SMH...

My Bears are falling apart and I don't get it. It's getting very hard for me and sports right now. Cheering for the Bears, Iowa Hawkeyes and Cubs is getting hard. At least the Blackhawks have been pretty good.

One of the talking heads(I think it was on the CBS NFL pre-game show) said that Jay Cutler & Tony Romo were cut from the same cloth.

Very similar. I don't think Cutler is the problem though, just like Cutler wasn't. Coaching and play calling is a major issue. As you can see the Cowboys finally started running the ball more and look what that's done for them.
