2014 NFL Season

So annoyed with Chip Kelly and the Eagle secondary.3rd and goal and from my view it looked like the Eagles had enough for the first down, they didn't challenge the spot, simply a failure on the coach right there.3rd and goal from 1/2 yard line they line up in shotgun and try a run with Polk, Cardinals hold.A qb sneak with a 6 foot 6 qb would've been a much smarter play.So now they kick the fg, Cardinals on thier own 20 launch a bomb to Brown, whom by the way had already made a big play similar to that earlier in the game.Of course he catches it and scores the game winning td.Epic fail by Kelly and the secondary.

And the owners don't? That's the fallacy you seem to be maintaining just to put it in Goodell.

You didn't answer the question, why would any team be asked to play there 5 times in a year?
The HOME team would have to play there at least 8 weeks.

I don't think thats what I said ...
I said that Goodell is having 5 games there next year.

Goodell is the pushing factor .... then again, he works for them.

I have already started looking more at college games MORE than my Raiders simply because we will more than likely not win a single game and have the first pick in the draft. I have never suffered a more miserable season than this year. To have THE most cap space in the history of the NFL(don't know if it was true or an exaggeration, but it felt that way) and still field a sh!tty as hell team just sucks the life out of you. I am SERIOUSLY debating on not renewing my NFL ticket because for as much as I get a nice "you have been a very dedicated, on-time paying, long time customer" discount... It is STILL a waste of money.

I guess this is what I get for being a Heat fan and being spoiled the last four years.... :oldfrown:oldmad:oldmad:censored:facepalm:wtf2

My poor son, through the osmosis of being my offspring, became a Raider fan and by halftime, he looks at me every game and almost asks me the same question, before it was words,,,now it's with his looks:

"... are we gonna suck forever?!..."
Looks like they are working at giving the 0-16 Lions team company ...

Amazing that with how up and down the Steelers have been that they are even in the hunt.

The AFC North is WIDE open, and there's a lot of inter-division games still on the docket. That said, it may be that only one team comes out of that division. I think San Diego gets one Wild Card, and Miami or Buffalo might get the other.

I am not sure whats going on with the AFC North standing, the Bye for the Bengals is screwing everything up.
I thought the Steelers and Ravens were tied for 1st ... Bengals lost this weekend.
That in itself is startling with where the Steelers were a few weeks back.

Right now they have them listed in order of win percentage.

A tie is basically half a win and half a loss.

So 4.5 wins out of 7 is a. 643 win percentage. 5 wins in 8 games is .625

So it sounds like Brandon Weeden is living up to the reputation of being the worst QB currently in the NFL. I'm sorry I have to ask,how is Weeden better to have over as a QB "He Who Shall Not Be Named(but can be currently found on the SEC Network)?" I've also heard that Mark Sanchez did pretty good for the Eagles,"J-E-T-S,Mess,Mess,Mess." I guess Jameis Winston does have a future in the NFL.

The Patriots

Tom Brady

FTW

I love how this team has responded since the debacle in Kansas City. If Gronk stays healthy, a championship is not out of the question.

I'm sure Tebow is happy with his gig at the SEC network, I don't understand the constant need to say "team x" should sign him or the need denigrate him.

Because he's better than Tebow, obviously. If he had any skill or value as a QB to any team at the professional level he'd have a job.
But it looks like Jameis Winston will have a place in the NFL after all. As bad as he has ruined his rep in collage, the NFL will take "Jack the Ripper(or Ted Bundy)" as long as he can throw the ball(where a receiver can catch it).
