I guess with the back up qbs they have in Seattle, he should get a chgace , but then again, how often does Wilson miss a game ?
if i were Wilson it might be game #1 unless they pay me ($650,000), is chump change. just because 32 NFL teams did not know who and what i was in 2012 is no excuse today show me the $$$$$, talk to my Ring.

That won't happen until the last year of his rookie contract(don't know if it's this year or next).

Under the current CBA, the 4-year contracts signed by draft picks can’t be renegotiated until after a player’s third season. 2014 will be Wilson's third season in the league.

He'll be paid like a top 5 QB when the time comes if nothing catastrophic happens between now and then.

Unrelated, ESPN airing a wildcard game next season.

I disagree...
You play your contract and get paid for what you have done.
When contract time comes up, he'll be paid very well,, particularly if he continues to improve.

How long till all playoff games are no longer on OTA at all ?

That might depend on the Aereo case. MLB and NFL said they may both leave broadcast TV if Aereo prevails.

UGH ...

Personally, I think that they will cave, once they are offered enough money to close up shop. (if they are allowed to do what they are talking about.)

easy for you not to miss the 10-15 million he is not getting. too funny in the NFL when a contract means nothing to the owners.
Tony Romo & Joe Flacco what do you think ?

I'd rather have Flacco over Romo. As I've said before,Joe Flacco is the best QB the Ravens have ever had. That may not be saying much, but at least he has won a Super Bowl, something Romo has yet to do.

As it should be. Earn that contract IN the NFL. This is simply the result of too many over paid draft busts in the past holding teams hostage for years. Besides, unproven rookies shouldn't make more than the proven veterans, but that's an old argument.

You're right about that O_o

agree the best QB the Baltimore Browns have ever had. but both he and Wilson have = lifetime achievements so far. but Joe could tip Russell's monies while taking limos, eating out and playing golf over a year. and let's face it the hawks could miss the playoffs this year.
