2013 MLB Postseason

Wow! Just to change subject, that loss in Boston really hurt last night. However, from an objective point-of-view Detroit did what they needed to to (split the first two games) and take things back to Detroit). I just hope we get run support and our starters can pitch eight-innings because our bullpen is to die with vice to die for. Go Tigers!

I see your the early game tomorrow.

This is what I was saying to a buddy earlier. Fans justifiably get caught up in a dramatic win, but at the end of the day the series is tied 1-1.

I'm watching the Dodgers-Cardinals game and really, really having trouble getting into this one since I'm not a fan of either team. Regardless, I guess that I'm pulling for the Dodgers since, I believe, the Tigers match-up better against them. But who knows? I'm just worried about getting Boston right now.

Funny. Felt the same way watching the ALCS. But as a baseball fan I enjoyed it.

I too am not really much into that series, I don't like either team ... don't dislike them (like the yankees for example), I do like a few players on the Dodgers but thats about it.

As for St. Louis, I think ever since we met them in the WS, just got the feeling that they felt that the Tigers weren't good enough to be there. Would like to CRUSH them this time around.

Yeah, I think JV was in his 2nd season back then and we certainly didn't have the pitching staff nor bats that we do now. Even our fielding has improved. In a way, we were extremely fortunate to have made it to the WS back then.

Sad news: Longtime MLB umpire, Wally Bell passed away today of an apparent heart attack. Bell, 48 just finished working the Pirates-Cardinals NLDS. 48 is wayyyy too young.....RIP Wally
