I really did not expect the game to be as close as it was. I did not expect Wisconsion to run the ball as well against that SCAR defense. SCAR was lucky to come up with the big stops and interceptions when they needed to though. That SEC Speed was just to fast for those big strong big10 blockers.
And now you see why the rest of us would not have been upset if OSU got jumped by a one less SEC team..
This Rose Bowl coming up will certainly be a match up of defenses. Without a doubt 2 of the best defenses in the country going toe to toe with 2 of decent offenses behind them. Might be one of the most entertaining Rose Bowls in some time. Course I have no idea why it is called the "Grand daddy of them all" I never got that. The matchups rarely are exciting for the bulk of the nation. Out side of the big 10 and pac12 no one really cares. At least the other BCS bowl games will pick teams outside there normal in order to attempt to make the game better. Where as the Rose Bowl is stuck with pac12 big 10. How can you be the grand daddy of them all but only allow 2 conferences to play (I understand others do sometimes but it is very rare).
Wisconsin runs on Everyone, always have always will.

Unfortunately they don't get the opportunity to this year.
The rest of the bowls are ones that don't go back nearly as far, as far as I know.
For MANY years bowls were tied to conferences ... it's not the Big Ten/Pac 8 fault your bowls don't like tradition.
Poor throws forced by those defenders getting on the QB fast. Certainly was stupid of him to try to throw it away in those situations (at least the way he did) but it was the defense that forced those decisions.
Looking at the record and umm they are 0-9 vs the SEC..
Gotta start changing that sometime ....
Can't help it they avoided the Buckeyes this year.
They finally have a Coach AND they have recruited the sec country VERY well the last few years.
