Damn! What's up with Nutt's Rebels? Vandy took it to ' em today 30-7! They keep this up, we'll have to start callin' them Brown Bears again, or something else that's brown. .
The stills in the hills will be emptied tonight. Then again, I guess that would have happened no matter who won.The Insider said:...Kentucky loses to Louisville...
Kentucky losing is nothing new, Vandy winning big on the other hand...What is going on in the SEC Kentucky loses to Louisville... And Vandy dominates the rebels?

I figured they would lose after how crappy they played the last 2 decades.
again fixedI figured they would lose after how crappy they played the last 6 decades.
And they actually make it look like the conference has basketballIts ok, we in the SEC still love Kentucky.. And Vanderbilt.. (We need all the academic help we can get!)

Though sometimes I've wondered how Kentucky would fair on a regular basis in the ACC or Big East (as opposed to padding it's win totals in the SEC).
I'm not, but look at Miami as an example. They owned the Big East, but the move to the ACC sent them to mediacrity. UKy could be the same in another conference or remain great. Their success in the NCAA tournament shows their good, but would be curious to see how they do elsewhere.Whatever. You keep telling yourself they pad their wins. KY's SOS is always at the top, so it can't be too much padding.

Better example, Nebraska was great in the Big 2 (okay, big 8). But once the Texas & Oklahoma schools joined up, their run quickly ended.
As it is, I love Wildcat Basketball, would make me forget how pathetic the Dawgs were when growing up.
Nebraska's run ended when Tom Osborne retired and they brought in a bunch of stiffs as head coach. Same thing happened to Oklahoma when Barry Switzer was forced out (for good reasons unrelated to football). A few years ago they brought back Osborne as AD, and now Nebraska is a power again with his man Pellini running the show....

...
Every conference has one.
A football team all the members hate. A team whose game date is mentally, if not physically, circled every year.
In the Big 12 (The Little 9 and shrinking), it is Texas.
In the Pac-12, it's Southern Cal.
In the Big Ten, with its 12 teams (guess math isn't their strong suit), it alternates between Ohio State and Michigan -- mostly Ohio State for the past decade.
In the ACC, it's Duke. No one said this was just about football.
In the Big East, it is UConn. See above plus football.
And in the SEC, almost sacred territory for college football, where tailgating and despising go hand in hand, it is Alabama.
In a league where recruiting is a top-shelf sport and too often basketball games are a place to discuss spring practice, the words Bama, Crimson Tide, Tide, and Roll Tide all leave a bitter taste in the mouths of people from other SEC schools.
Why? Because Alabama is a little cocky, and its football team is so successful that the school is everyone's rival.
Written by someone from Alabama no doubt. Please, continue to flatter yourselves.
Not in the state of Georgia. Auburn has always been the most hated for both Georgia and Ga Tech (back when they played every year). It's pretty much the same with Florida, they tend to hate Auburn more.
