2011 SEC Football (Home of 7 of 13 BCS Championships including the last 5)

Auburn @ Clemson will be worth the watch, as will LSU @ Mississippi St. Both could be chances for an upset at this point in the season.
I saw the Clemson game, but wasn't sure if they were capable of pulling an upset, not sure how good they are this year.
I doubt that Miss St has enough to take down LSU

A top 25 match up on thursday is not top notch? What is your basis of comparison for this week?

Ok, it isnt Oklahoma vs Florida State, but find me another two teams (from the same conference AND division no less) in the top 25 that are matching up this week.

LSU should handle this one rather easily.

With Miles at the helm? He will blow (or darn near blow) one that they should handle. The fun of it is, you never know which one it is.

Even still, State is a good team. I saw last week, but they are more than capable.

I agree. They've (Clemson) beaten Troy and struggled with Wofford (who the hell is that?) at home, but you never know about Clemson. Should be a good one with Auburn rebuilding.

Of course you can. If you are going to talk smack or question the schedule, at least be able to back up your own conferences equally (no, more) crappy weekly schedule though. :D

Where did I say that I wanted to compare conference schedules ?
I simply wanted to know where the Big games were in the sec this week .....

I am not like you, I don't need to talk SMACK with every post ....

Give me a break Jimbo, you, me, and everyone that reads this thread knows that you came here to talk a little smack with your comment. Thats fine, we can take a little smack talk, it is part of college football.
Now, that said, dont get upset when your smack talk generates a little good natured ribbing in response.

Now before you say, again, "I just wanted to know who was playing", you can admit that if any SEC member had gone into the "Big 10" thread and asked that question, in the way that you posted it, after the schedule was presented, that they would be chastised for "smack talk".

It is just football, lets all have fun and enjoy :)

I thought that the Wisconsin / Nebraska game was this week, that WILL be MUST SEE TV ...

Sure it will. Many MUST SEE TV (of course they are not all must see to everyone) games spread out through the college football schedule.

You mean like complaining about Boise St.'s schedule when your own team doesn't have a single ranked opponent? ;)

I love that no one is giving TN a chance. They might just surprise someone. A couple of great receivers and a qb that isn't afraid to sling it (could come back to haunt us)

I'm more concerned with what the Vols will do when LSU comes to Knoxville, especially after last year's meeting.

FLA better really pick up something on their defense if they wish to stop Tenns QB and receiving team. The guy has a great arm and his guys can catch. FLA the last two games played a very basic vanillia defense that a good qb could rip apart.. Lets hope FLA was only in practice mode and not really showing there true defense.

Our offense is already 100 times better then last year which is not saying much, so they will get a real test this saturday against a SEC defense. Tenn is not the cream of the crap but certainly a good test for a new offense.
