2011 SEC Football (Home of 7 of 13 BCS Championships including the last 5)

3-3 battle right now. It is a matter of time, IMO, before LSU takes over, but I have said before that State is no pushover.

6-3 halftime LSU. This was one that I worried about before the season. State plays LSU tough every time. First team to make a mistake in this one will be in trouble.

LSU has everything but a QB.

If they had a guy like Ryan Mallett, I'd like their chances even more to win a title.

I'm not completely sold on Lee- running and defense alone can't carry the team.

Lee may not throw like Mallett, but as long as he plays smart (which Mallett didn't always do), he'll help them win games. If he can't, Zach Mettenberger is on the sideline just waiting for a chance.

You're correct though Sabres, a weak QB will probably keep them from winning any titles this season. Gonna be a tough road from here for sure. :)

With that Defense, I am not so sure that they need a superstar QB. I was watching them fly to the ball and kept thinking, "damn those guys are fast".

The Bama/LSU game is going to be a defensive slugfest of epic proportions.

It'll come down to home field advantage I'm afraid. How about we petition each team to play the game somewhere in Mississippi? :) ;)

I don't think it will matter by that time, LSU will slip up against a team before Alabama, so will bama..neither team looks likely to be undefeated by time they meet. Now I know the easy question to ask is who will beat them...I really don't know just call it a hunch.

Well Auburns luck ran out. SHOCKED that it lasted this long, but pissed that it went out against an OOC opponent. Oh well, they may bounce, but ill wager that they will dive.

I watched the first qtr and AU looked like they would have an easy time. What happened?

The LUCK ran out. I thought the same, but knew it was coming. I just hoped it would come another week.

It was only a matter of time, they dont have it and were running on last years fumes.

Why, if, when, ever, ALABAMA has not stated a starting QB is a baffling mess to me. I dont make 4 million a year, but I have to ask Saban, have you watched the same games as me? I dont give a rolling crap about practice. It is OBVIOUS who your better qb is, and not naming him as such is a hindrance to him when ou take him out mid stride.

Leave little Nicky alone! He knows what he's doing. :D

I cant argue with his results, but damn! I knew after the first couple of series of the first game. Hell, I knew before that. They had the A Day game, it has been obvious. Unless there is an attitude problem he is trying to iron out, I dont get it.
