lol nevermind, lsu runs the ball back on kickoff... i have to say this is a heart attack waiting to happen for some of those wvu fans lol

I hope that swings the momentum back LSU's way. WVU scares the crap out of me. They've got that daunting LSU D figured out.

LSU regains control, for now. 40-21 with 9:17 left. LSU offense looking good tonight. Lee doing a nice job. More likely a result of a bad WVU defense.

Fog rolling in. :)

LSU looks like they'll win, but West Virginia is showing a decent fight offensively and that the Tigers, as good as they look at time, seems to be dependent on getting early leads.

They're great with protecting leads, but what if they fall behind?

I think LSU needs to worry more about the 400+ yards thrown on them tonight, don't you?

Yeah this alone tells me they won't go undefeated this year..neither will Bama - I don't see either team making it to the big game. Sad thing is ya got a Boise St team here with a schedule that represents my old HS schedule that could very well just ease right up from all those voters kissing up to Boise just as they did last year. Every week till they lost that's all you heard...bcs buster etc etc. ESPN really talked them up on each sunday night when BCS polls were coming out.

I expect LSU to stumble once or twice this season. Florida is a lot stronger than everyone thought. Tennessee will be out for blood in Knoxville after last years debacle in Baton Rouge. Beating Alabama in Tuscaloosa will be almost impossible. And you can throw out the books when LSU faces Arkansas every time. But, it will be fun to watch them as always. Geaux Tigers! :)

LSU is predictable- all they do is run and play defense, with occasional passes here and there.

Lee is good at times, but I worry if he turns into Jacory Harris and blows a game with bad throws.

For now, he's done well, but as I said, they are not built to come back from deficits.

Yep..mark my words, Any 2 teams in the top 10 as of tomorrow's polls could go to the big game but they won't be 1 loss teams either. Two undefeated teams most likely and that could very well be teams like Boise St and Nebraska....Boise plays nobody else really so they will just ease up, Nebraska could take down Wisc on the road next week and really slide up with a remaining schedule that looks very strong.

Isn't that what an offense is? As long as they get it done and don't make mistakes, that should work against most defenses.

I didn't think they were last year either, but they did it time and again. Their first real test will be against Florida in two weeks. Might have to come from behind in that one, again.

LSU and Florida ring up 40, Mississippi State needs overtime, Ole Miss sinks lower, Vanderbilt held the Gamecocks under 30.

Just another day in the never boring Smug Ego Conference (I mean that name with respect, not hatred).

Other than Arkansas and South Carolina, Nobody else in the SEC has a passing attack that can win games.

Honestly, I dont think Arkansas does either. I wasnt really impressed with their offense yesterday, of course the Bama D is that good, so who knows.

Nebraska may go down next week against Wisconsin, another game I'm wanting to see !

Toledo Petitions to Have Loss to Syracuse Vacated After Disputed Extra Point Call - College Football - NESN.com

After its 33-30 overtime loss to Syracuse on Saturday, the University of Toledo has petitioned to have the result of the game officially vacated.
Late in the fourth quarter of Saturday's game, Syracuse scored a touchdown to take a 29-27 lead with just over two minutes to play. Syracuse kicker Ross Krautman kicked the ensuing extra point, which was ruled good. Looking at the replay however, the kick actually missed wide left. Despite reviewing the play, referees still determined that the kick was good.
Toledo proceeded to drive down the field and tie the game with a field goal and send it into overtime. Syracuse would later win the game on a field goal of its own.

Forgot to post this over the weekend. Anyone else catch it. Obvious miss (looking at it on ESPN), ruled to be good. Then it was reviewed and still ruled to be good.
