2011 MLB Playoffs

The Detroit fans might love it, but it's a national telecast...meaning most of the audience are NOT Tiger fans.

Sandra

Rangers fans would love it too since their home games would be broadcast by Fox Sports Southwest, and unbiased baseball fans would really love it since they wouldn't have to listen to Buck and McCarver. :)

Seriously, I follow both teams (mostly the Tigers) and both the Dallas and Detroit broadcast teams do a much better job than Suck and McButcher.

Friday- National League Championship Series- Game 5

Brewers (Greinke) at Cardinals (Garcia)- 8:05pm ET (TBS) Series tied 2-2

I'll be honest, Im a little sick of the Cardinals. I like the Brewers. They are a fun team. Remember when the Cardinals had the All Star Game? I mean I had to hear how great the Cardinals fans were. It was sickening after awhile.

I've enjoyed being one of the best fans in baseball. Get used to it, the Cards are going to be around for a while yet.

Remember when Adam Wainwright Struck out the Mets Carlos Beltran, as Beltran left the bat on his shoulder in the playoffs. That was one heck of a curve ball eh? Cards went on to World Series and won it. Remember That? It was 2006

I definitely remember that. It's nights like this I really consider moving back to St. Louis. Only seeing a couple of games in person each year isn't the same.

Yes, I do remember that. I also do you remember back in the year 2000 when the Mets beat the Cards. I also remember in 2004, when the Red Sox beat you guys on your own field.

I dont deny what the Cardinals history. I think the 10 World Championships and 17 Pennants are a great accomplishment. Im just saying that I thought hearing about the Cards fans etc. during the All Star Game got a little annoying.

Interesting, they just posted a stat that says the Winner of Game 5 wins the series 57% of the time ....

That bodes well for the Tigers .... however, 57 % isn't very overwhelming ... slightly over 50% .... may as well not posted at all.

Now the more important stat would be the percentage of game 5 winners that WON game 6.

Jimbo, the part you're missing is the winner of game 5 "with the series was tied at two games" goes on to win...etc.

The Tigers were down 3-1 and the odds are still stacked against them since they will have to win three-in-a-row. Regardless, I have faith in the Tigers being able to win two in Arlington. :)

Here's a solution to your annoying concern, simply turn the radio or television off, because you will here about Cardinal Nation again this year. Have a good day.

Happy Halloween Everyone!
