Whatever happened to those handy maps that showed which games CBS/FOX will be showing in each market?? For those of us without the Sunday Ticket, those come in handy to see which games we have to look forward to.

Pro Football Talk states there are rumors coming out of Indy indicating that due to the sensitivity of the injury and the lack of attention the injury has gotten, that Manning may be out for the year..... !

I'm just wondering if this might be IT for Manning all together .... Neck surgery is nothing to mess around with.
I wrong hit and the guys paralyzed .... I'd have to think long and hard before going back out there if there ANY chance ....

If the doctors say No, then NO it should be.

On Inside the NFL they just pointed out all the folks that have retired with this same injury...

Raiders didn't even put in a waiver claim for him, PFT reports only Panthers, Broncos, 49ers and Jaguars did.

Well that sucks.

The Jags just let him go and now they want him back on the cheap? I would tell them to kiss my a$$!

A couple of years ago, I had an few avatar bet with BillD1984 for when the Bills played the Patriots in November of 2008- and, as we both know, the Pats won and I put up a Ben Coates avatar for a few weeks.

Well, since I am feeling very optimistic about my Bills this year, I would like to respectfully offer a challenge to either Bill for the Buffalo-New England week 3 matchup or Salsa for Oakland's trip to Buffalo for week 2.

If the Bills win, you have to put up a Bills-related avatar until the ALCS starts October 8th. I'll do the same with a Pats/Raiders avatar if your team wins.

Peyton Manning just signed a 5 year, $90 million contract over the summer. He'll be back.

I think part of these grand predictions we're hearing are media hype, but I do think Manning will be out for longer than just this week. Supposedly, he's having trouble putting any sort of velocity onto the ball. The neck is nothing to mess with. He may be out a good chunk of 2011. It's unfortunate for the Colts because Manning will make over $20 million in the 2011 league year, which would have him taking up more than one-sixth of the Colts' total salary cap space!!

Are you ready for some football?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tonight's the night we've been waiting for since January 19th. Football is back!!!!

And without further adieu, we jump right into it with a battle of the last two Super Bowl Champions. The New Orleans Saints @ The Green Bay Packers. Wow. Talk about a prime-time show for the fans!!! Welcome back NFL! It'll be interesting to see if these teams are a little rusty from the abbreviated off season. I'm thinking the extended time off did the Packers good since they were one of two teams to play last. My early pick for Super Bowl XLVI: The Green Bay Packers making a repeat trip! The journey starts tonight! And now the rest of the matchups....

I will take you up on it for week 4 against the Bengals.
